The date of the celebration will be defined by the players and the technical committee of the Argentine national team. The announcement was made by Milei in a publication on X, after questions about what the celebrations for the team’s performance at the World Cup would be like.
“In view of the concern regarding the celebrations of the achievement achieved by the Argentine National Team, I inform the population that, depending on the decision of the players and the technical committee on the date of the celebration, a national holiday will be declared,” he wrote. Mercy.
Milei did not watch the final in the USA
Before the World Cup decision, Milei stated that he would not travel to the United States to watch the match between the Argentina and Spain teams. The president said he preferred to watch the team’s games at the official residence in Olivos, in Buenos Aires.
