Ingredients
500 ml of water
2 ears of green corn
2 crushed garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1/2 onion chopped into cubes
Black pepper to taste
Green scent to taste
Salt to taste
Directions
- Remove the hairs from the cobs and cut the corn kernels very close to the cobs.
- Place the corn and water in the blender, cover and blend for a few minutes.
- Strain the mixture, pressing with a spatula to extract all the juice and discard the pomace.
- In a pan, add the olive oil, crushed garlic, chopped onion and sauté, stirring well, until golden.
- Stir the liquid mixture, add to the pan and mix.
Season with salt and black pepper to taste. - Continue stirring constantly until the mixture becomes creamy and after it starts to boil, cook for another 5 minutes over medium to low heat, always stirring well.
- Turn off the heat, finish by adding chopped green pepper to taste and the green corn angu is ready to consume.
