1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Juice of 1 lemon (or to taste)

- Peel the garlic cloves and chop them finely or press them using a garlic press.
- In a bowl, mix the minced/squeezed garlic with the olive oil.
Let sit for at least 15 to 20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse. - After the resting time, add the mayonnaise to the garlic and olive oil mixture.
Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous consistency. - Add the lemon juice to the mixture and stir again.
The lemon juice will help balance the strong flavor of the garlic and add a citrus touch to the sauce. - Season with salt and pepper to taste.
