A new Ukrainian attack with drones was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday (22) against Russian cities, leaving one person dead and 10 injured in the Krasnodar region. The information was released by the local governor, Veniamin Kondratyev.
“Three are in serious condition and one in moderate condition. They were hospitalized in city hospitals. The other six injured received outpatient care”, informed the governor.
The bombing hit the Wildberries e-commerce network, considered one of the largest retail platforms in Russia, for the second time in less than a week. Two of the company’s warehouses were hit in the Krasnodar and Stravopol regions. Last Saturday (18), a platform warehouse was attacked in the Moscow region, leaving eight people dead.
In the attack this Wednesday (22), it was reported that firefighters continue to fight the fire and a helicopter will be called. Drone debris also hit two residential buildings in Krasnodar and two private houses in the village of Dinskaya.
Wildberries’ warehouse in Krasnodar, as well as the warehouse in Nevinnomyssk, Stavropol, suspended operations following the drone attack. A helicopter will be sent to fight the fire at the warehouse complex in Krasnodar and a state of emergency has been declared in Nevinnomyssk in Stravopol.
According to the statement released by the Russian Ministry of Defense this Wednesday morning, 242 Ukrainian drones were “intercepted and destroyed” in more than 16 Russian regions between 8 pm and 8 am, including the districts of Krasnodar and Stavropol, in the Crimea region, and the Black and Azov seas.
The Russian Defense Ministry also stated that it carried out attacks against the Ukrainian logistics center “Nova Poshta” in the city of Odessa.
“In the port of Odessa, port infrastructure facilities used for unloading and storing military cargo, as well as fuel and lubricant tanks intended for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, were damaged,” the statement said.
