Hamas announced on Wednesday (3) being ready for a comprehensive agreement that predicts the release of all Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, allied to the end of the war in Gaza, the complete removal of the occupation forces, the opening of the border passages, and the immediate beginning of the reconstruction.

The statement also included the possibility of creating an independent national administration of technocrats to govern the enclave.

“We are ready for a comprehensive agreement in which all enemy prisoners arrested by resistance are released in exchange for a number agreed from Palestinian prisoners detained by the occupation,” the statement says.

“This agreement will end the war in the Gaza Strip, will result in the removal of all occupation forces throughout the territory, opening the border passages to allow the entry of all the needs of the Gaza Strip and begin the process of reconstruction,” adds the Palestinian group.

Israleense Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the proposal as “more scene game” and “Nothing New.”

According to him, the war can only end through conditions imposed by Israel: release of all hostages, hamm disarmament, demilitarization of the Gaza Strip, maintenance of Israeli safety control, and establishing a new civil government. Hamas has already declared “repeatedly” that it will not give up its arsenal.

Defense Minister Israel Katz said Hamas should choose between accepting these terms or seeing Gaza “becoming the equivalent of Rafah and Beit Hanoun,” while Bezalel Smotrich argued that the “minimum result” of the war also includes a safety and freedom of action zone for the army.

The pressure also starts from the US President Donald Trump, who wrote in his social network, the Truth Socialthat Hamas should “immediately return all 20 hostages,” and said that if this happens, “things will change quickly” and the war “will end!”.

Special envoy Steve Witkoff has defended the simultaneous release of all living captives as a preview for negotiations.

The statements occur amidst the preparation of Israel for a large -scale terrestrial offensive against the city of Gaza, where about 1 million of the 2 million inhabitants of the Enclave.

Prior to the statement, Hamas had already accepted a proposal mediated by Egypt and pick up to a phase ceasefire, starting with a 60-day truce and a partial exchange of hostages. Israel, however, rejected “partial agreements” and approved a military plan that provides for the convening of 60,000 reservists to occupy the city of Gaza.

Internally, the pressure against Netanyahu grows. The Association of Prisoners’ Families in Gaza, in a statement on Wednesday, summoned massive protests, accusing the government of obstructing negotiations while Hamas would be more committed to completing them.

Liran Berman, the brother of two hostages, stated that “Hamas seems more willing to complete the agreement and end the war than the Israeli government.” Former cornstarch chief Gadi Eisenkot accused Netanyahu of waging the negotiation, noting that the prime minister even classified families from prisoners like “fascist brigades.”
