The President of the United States, Donald Trump, was called a “protector of pedophiles” by a protester who interrupted his speech, this Monday (27), in the state of Michigan, United States. At the same event, there were protests against the installation of data centers in the state.

During a visit to a General Motors unit, the president was speaking when he was interrupted by repeated shouts. There was a reaction from supporters and Trump called the protester a “communist”.

“He’s a communist. We’re running against communists,” Trump said. According to the United States press, the man, who has not yet been identified, was removed from the scene.

The protester was alluding to the US president’s involvement with businessman Jeffrey Epstein, suspected of running a pedophilia and human trafficking network.

It is not the first time that Trump has been the target of demonstrations of this type in the state. In January, while the president was visiting Ford facilities, a company employee also called him a “pedophile protector.” Trump responded by swearing at the protester and giving him the middle finger.

At this Monday’s event, a few minutes later, another group raised banners against the president with the phrase “Stop the datacenters”, in protest against the installation of units to provide artificial intelligence in the region, which have been consuming a large amount of water in the region.
