Nutritious Skillet Tapioca Snack

Nutritious Skillet Tapioca Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1 tablespoon of rice flour

  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

  • 3 tablespoons of hydrated tapioca

  • Ground meat to taste

  • Mozzarella to taste

Directions

  • Mix the egg, salt and hydrated tapioca well in a bowl. Add the rice flour and melted butter and mix again.
  • Add half of the dough to a buttered frying pan. Add the ground beef and mozzarella to taste on top.
  • Cover the filling with the remaining dough on top, place over low heat and cover the pan.
  • Let the sandwich bake in the pan until it hardens and turns golden brown on the bottom. Then turn it over with a spatula.
  • Cover the pan again and cook the other side of the snack for a few minutes, until golden brown.
  • Remove it with the spatula, transfer the tapioca snack to a plate and it is ready to cut and serve.
