The UN International Court (CIJ), the UN’s main legal body, begins on Monday (28) to decide whether the blockade made by Israel in the Gaza Strip is illegal, preventing the entry of humanitarian aid in that region. Throughout the week, public hearings will be held at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the Netherlands.
On the grounds that the blockade serves to press Hamas to release hostages, the government of Benjamin Netanyahu from almost two months ago, millions of Palestinians receive medications, food and fuel.
According to the UN, more than 40 countries should participate in hearings, including Brazil that sent statements to that legal body.

At the National Congress, Deputy Jandira Feghali (PCdoB-RJ), has protested the total blockade of Israel, which has lasted more than 50 days. “The UN World Food Program stock has come to an end in the Gaza Strip. Netanyahu’s Zionist forces always bend the bet on Palestinians cruelty and now they want to kill children and hungry elderly. The name of this is genocide. It is necessary to believe in some human justice so that the Palestinian people get rid of Israeli claws and have peace.
UN agencies and non -governmental organizations (NGOs) say that at the site 2.2 million people are living with only one meal a day or less due to the total blockade imposed by Israel to food and water.
The Arab Palestinian Federation of Brazil (Fepal) released a video in which a child scrapes pan in Gaza in an attempt to bring food to the family.
“The World Food Program (UN) states that food inventory in Gaza has been running out after more than 50 days of total blockade of Israelis to enter humanitarian aid,” says the entity.
