Ingredients
2 cans of sweet corn
1 tablespoon butter
1 small onion, chopped
1 clove of minced garlic
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, to thicken)
Salt and pepper to taste
Green smell for decoration (optional)
Directions
- In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in butter until golden.
- Add the corn (with the water from the can) and let it cook for 5 minutes.
- Blend the corn in a blender until it forms a cream (or leave some pieces whole, if you prefer).
- Return to the pan, add the milk and cook for another 5 minutes.
- If you want a thicker cream, dissolve the cornstarch in the milk before adding it to the mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with parsley, if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
