Learn How to Make Delicious Creamed Corn in LESS than 30 Minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of sweet corn

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • 1 clove of minced garlic

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, to thicken)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Green smell for decoration (optional)

Directions

  • In a pan, sauté the onion and garlic in butter until golden.
  • Add the corn (with the water from the can) and let it cook for 5 minutes.
  • Blend the corn in a blender until it forms a cream (or leave some pieces whole, if you prefer).
  • Return to the pan, add the milk and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • If you want a thicker cream, dissolve the cornstarch in the milk before adding it to the mixture.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with parsley, if desired.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
