A big tech Nvidia recorded net profit of US$14.88 billion in the first fiscal quarter of 2025, according to the financial statement released this Wednesday (May 22, 2024) by the company. The value represents an increase of 628% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The positive results were due to the increase in demand for the Hooper platform, according to the company’s statement. The platform is used in language models and generative artificial intelligence.
“Our data center growth has been driven by strong and growing demand for AI generative training and inference on the Hopper platform. In addition to cloud service providers, generative AI has expanded to consumer Internet companies and enterprise customers, AI sovereigns, automotive and healthcare.”he states.
For the second fiscal quarter, the company expects revenue to be $28 billion and operating expenses to be $4 billion.
