Ingredients
1 can of condensed milk
2 cans of milk (use the empty condensed milk can to measure)
3 eggs
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
1 cup sugar (for the syrup)
Directions
- In a microwave-safe container, place the sugar.
- Microwave on high power for approximately 5 minutes or until the sugar melts and forms a golden syrup.
- Be careful when handling the container as it will be very hot.
Rotate the container to spread the syrup along the sides. - In a blender, add the condensed milk, milk, eggs and vanilla essence.
- Beat all ingredients until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Pour the pudding mixture over the syrup in the container.
- Cover the container with a microwave-safe lid or a plate.
- Microwave on medium power for about 12 to 15 minutes.
The time may vary depending on the power of your microwave.
Check the consistency of the pudding by doing the toothpick test: when you insert a toothpick into the pudding, it should come out clean. - Let it cool before unmolding.
