Ingredients

  • 500g grated raw cassava

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1/2 cup of oil

  • 1 cup of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • A bit of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a medium pan with margarine and sprinkle with wheat flour.
  • Peel and grate the cassava. If it is very wet, squeeze out the excess liquid.
  • In a bowl, mix the grated cassava, eggs, milk, sugar and oil. Stir well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the wheat flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40-50 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool a little before unmolding.
  • Serve the cassava cake cut into pieces and enjoy!
