Ingredients
500g grated raw cassava
3 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of oil
1 cup of wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
A bit of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease a medium pan with margarine and sprinkle with wheat flour.
- Peel and grate the cassava. If it is very wet, squeeze out the excess liquid.
- In a bowl, mix the grated cassava, eggs, milk, sugar and oil. Stir well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Add the wheat flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix until all ingredients are incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 40-50 minutes, or until the cake is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool a little before unmolding.
- Serve the cassava cake cut into pieces and enjoy!
