The UN Human Rights Office released on Tuesday (24) that at least 410 Palestinians were killed while seeking food in humanitarian aid centers in Gaza, Palestine. According to the organization, these deaths can be framed as war crimes.

According to the office, this warning occurs after one month from the beginning of operations of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, supported by Israel and the United States.

At a press conference in Geneva, Switzerland, UN Human Rights spokesman Thameen al-Keetan said deaths occur during shooting at distribution points, while hungry civilians strive to get some supply.

“The transformation of foods for arms civilians, in addition to restricting or preventing their access to essential services, is a war crime and, under certain circumstances, can constitute elements of other crimes provided for in international law,” says Al-Keetan.

The spokesman stressed that the situation is caused by the action of Israel’s defense forces. As informs, about 93 people were hit by the army by trying to approach the United Nations’s help trains: “Israel’s militarized militarized mechanism is in contradiction with international aid distribution standards,” he says.

He also points out that the war classification attributed to Israel must be made by a court to be valid. However, it was firm in reporting the inhuman condition imposed by the alleged Israeli militarized humanitarian assistance, which offers Palestinians the option of hungry or risk being shot while seeking food.
