2 cups washed fresh spinach
1 green apple, cut into pieces
1 medium cucumber, peeled and cut
1/2 lemon, peeled
A handful of mint leaves
1/2 glass of coconut water (or regular water)
Ice (optional)
Directions
- Wash all ingredients well.
- Peel the apple and lemon, if preferred.
Some people like to keep the skin on to get more fiber. - Cut all ingredients into small pieces, making processing easier.
- Place all ingredients in the blender.
- Add coconut water (or regular water).
- Beat well until you get a smooth mixture.
- If desired, add ice for a more refreshing juice.
- Strain if you prefer a thinner juice, but remember that fiber is healthy and can be beneficial.
