Ingredients

  • 2 cups washed fresh spinach

  • 1 green apple, cut into pieces

  • 1 medium cucumber, peeled and cut

  • 1/2 lemon, peeled

  • A handful of mint leaves

  • 1/2 glass of coconut water (or regular water)

  • Ice (optional)

Directions

  • Wash all ingredients well.
  • Peel the apple and lemon, if preferred. 
    Some people like to keep the skin on to get more fiber.
  • Cut all ingredients into small pieces, making processing easier.
  • Place all ingredients in the blender.
  • Add coconut water (or regular water).
  • Beat well until you get a smooth mixture.
  • If desired, add ice for a more refreshing juice.
  • Strain if you prefer a thinner juice, but remember that fiber is healthy and can be beneficial.
