Fried Fish Bait.

Ingredients

  • 70 ml of water

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Bacon or rice seasoning (optional)

  • 600g of panga, hake or tilapia fillet

  • Enough wheat flour for breading

  • Lemon to taste for squeezing

  • Chimichurri to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, water, chimichurri to taste, salt to taste and Sazón (optional). Set aside.
  • Cut the fish into strips of your preferred thickness and let them marinate in the liquid seasoning for 10 minutes.
  • Coat the seasoned fish pieces in wheat flour until both sides are coated.
  • Roll the pieces in the palms of your hands into a roll shape and roll them again in flour.
  • In a pan, heat enough oil to completely cover the fish.
  • Place the fish one by one in the hot oil and let them fry until golden brown to your preferred point.
  • Remove the fish fillets with a slotted spoon, let the excess oil drain and transfer them to a plate.
  • Finish by squeezing lemon juice to taste over the fried fish strips and they are ready to serve.
