Ingredients
2 cups of cornmeal
1 cup of wheat flour
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of oil
3 eggs
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, mix the cornmeal, wheat flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and add the oil and milk. Mix well.
- Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Pour the dough into a greased and floured pan, or one lined with baking paper.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting into pieces.
