The military offensive launched by Israel against Iran on June 13, under the pretext of containing the advance of the Iranian nuclear program, resulted in the deaths of at least 935 people, according to updated data from Iran’s Forensic Medicine Organization released on Monday (30). Most victims are civilians, including 132 women – some of them pregnant – 38 children and 79 killed in an attack on Evin’s arrest in Tehran.
The number is almost double what had initially been released by the Iranian Ministry of Health, and reveals the indiscriminate character of the Bombing Campaign conducted by Israel with support from the United States, which also attacked Iranian nuclear facilities during the conflict.
Prison, schools and residential neighborhoods between targets

According to the Iranian judiciary spokesman, Asghar Jahangi, families of prisoners, humanitarian workers and civil servants are among those killed in the attacks on Evin’s penitentiary. In another survey, the Ministry of Education confirmed the death of 30 students and 7 teachers.
“The actions of the Zionist regime do not distinguish between civilians and military. Each martyr and each destroyed building is a war crime,” said Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesman for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Attacks aimed at civil and scientific infrastructure
The 12 -day Air War was marked by intense bombing against civil infrastructure, residential neighborhoods and scientific installations. Israel claims to have targeted commanders of the body of Islamic revolutionary guard and nuclear scientists. But according to the Iranian government, the attacks have largely reached ordinary and local civilians without any military function.
Iran maintains that the offensive violated not only the principles of international law and the UN letter, but also the Nuclear Non -Proliferation Treaty (TNP), of which the country is a signatory.
Comparisons with Gaza and Denunciation of War Crimes
As in the Gaza Strip, where the ongoing war has already left about six tens of thousands of civilians killed by the hands of Israel’s defense forces (FDI), the standard of attacks in Iran shows the absence of distinction between civil and military targets – an international humanitarian law principles.
Iranian spokesman Asghar Jahangi said the country is collecting evidence and prepares to present a formal complaint to international organizations. “The whole world saw who began the war. Iran just defended itself,” he said.
USA entered the conflict and expanded climbing
On June 22, the United States intervened directly, bombarding three Iranian nuclear facilities. The action has further intensified the crisis and culminated in an Iranian retaliatory attack against the Al-Eudid Air Base in Qatar, considered the largest American military installation in the Middle East.
On the 24th, President Donald Trump announced that a ceasefire had been agreed after Iran launched ballistic attacks on Israeli and American positions. Despite the truce, the number of dead continues to rise as bodies are identified.
Pressure for liability and repairs

The deaths of nearly 1,000 civilians – in health professionals, scientists, teachers, pregnant women and children – reinforce Tehran’s appeal for international reparations and liability.
“The silence of Western powers and human rights organizations in the face of such evident crimes is complicit. The victims of Iran are victims of the same logic of impunity that kills in Gaza,” said Fatemeh Mohajerani, a spokesman for the Iranian government, in a statement to Al Mayadeen.
The human cost of aggression
With 4,870 injuries, almost 1,000 hospitalized with seriousness, Iran still has the total impact of the war. In addition to mourning, there is destruction of civil and scientific infrastructure, forced displacement of families and the loss of qualified professionals.
According to Iranian authorities, the āproportional responseā has been completed, but surveillance remains. The government promises to maintain its sovereignty and seek justice “in all possible forums.”
The 12 -day war, which has been considered the largest foreign aggression to Iranian territory since the war with Iraq in the 1980s, makes it clear that, as in Gaza, the highest cost of Israel’s military actions continues to be paid by innocent civilians.
