Ingredients
4 fresh ears of corn
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Peel the corn cobs and remove the hairs.
- Trim the ends of the cobs so they are straight.
- Place the cobs in a large pot and cover with water.
- Place the pan over high heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to medium and cook the cobs for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the kernels are tender.
- While the cobs are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- When the cobs are ready, remove them from the pan with tongs and place them on a plate.
- Brush the cobs with the melted butter and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve it hot.
