Recently, a headquarters of the Communist Party of Israel, in Umm al-Fahm, was raided by police, who confiscated Palestinian flags.

Maki parliamentarians (the abbreviation of the Party’s name in Hebrew) were suspended from the Israeli parliament (Knesset) for denouncing the genocide, and their leaders and activists began to suffer from threats and attacks.

Given this, an inevitable question arises: how do Israeli communists resist and act amid the barbarity of the Palestinian genocide and the political predominance of Zionism, which acts with typical fascist aggressiveness?

To answer this and other questions, the Communist Party of Brazil (PCdoB) and the Brazilian Center for Solidarity with Peoples and the Fight for Peace (Cebrapaz) will receive, next Saturday (16), Reem Hazzan, Secretary of International Relations of the Communist Party of Israel. The debate is in person and will be held in the auditorium of the PCdoB headquarters, on Rua Rego Freitas, 192 (República), from 3pm to 5:30pm.

The event is open to anyone who is supportive of Palestine or who honestly wishes to learn more about the subject.

His presence will be an important gesture of solidarity with the Israeli communists, who suffer all kinds of coercion for their courageous defense of the Palestinian cause and their tenacious fight against the criminal Netanyahu.
