Ideal for quick meals or a special snack, breaded chicken made in the Airfryer preserves the succulence of the meat with an irresistible golden crust. In addition, it is an alternative with fewer calories and fat, perfect for the whole family.

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken fillet (cut into strips or medium pieces)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs or panko (for extra crunch)

  • 1/2 cup wheat flour

  • 1 teaspoon paprika (sweet or hot, optional)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Olive oil spray (optional, to help with crispiness)

Directions

  • Season the chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes to absorb the seasonings.
  • In a bowl, place the wheat flour.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  • In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs or panko.
  • Coat each piece of chicken in flour, coating well.
  • Then dip in the beaten egg, making sure the entire surface is covered.
  • Finish by coating in breadcrumbs or panko, pressing lightly to form an even layer.
  • Turn on the Airfryer at 200°C for 5 minutes.
  • Place the breaded chicken pieces in the Airfryer basket, leaving space between them so that the air can circulate well.
  • Lightly spray with olive oil or cooking spray (optional, to increase crispiness).
  • Cook for 10 to 15 minutes at 200°C, turning the pieces halfway through to brown evenly.
  • Remove from the Airfryer and serve hot, accompanied by sauces, salad or rice.
