Ingredients
500 g wheat flour
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons powdered milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons of margarine
150 ml of milk
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla essence
10g dry yeast
Directions
- In a bowl, put the sugar, powdered milk, milk and dry yeast.
- Mix well.
- Add the egg, vanilla, margarine and mix again.
- Add most of the wheat flour (approximately 70%), salt and mix again.
- Place the dough on a floured table and knead for 10-15 minutes, gradually adding flour as needed, until it stops sticking to your hands and becomes elastic.
- Make a ball with the dough, put it back in the bowl, cover it with a cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Remove the dough from the bowl, roll it out on a floured table in a rectangular shape, leaving it approximately 2 cm thick.
- Cut the dough into long strips 2 fingers wide.
- Cut the strips into little tubes, 3 fingers long.
- Place the cut biscuits on a floured baking sheet, cover with a cloth and let rise for 30 to 45 minutes.
- Take the roast to medium oven (180 degrees) for 15 to 20 minutes until they are golden.
- Your biscuits are ready!
