The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed this Tuesday (21) to have attacked the central data infrastructure of the American company Amazon in Bahrain during the 24th phase of Operation Nasr-2. According to a statement released by the Iranian agency Tasnimthe action was a response to the bombings carried out by the United States against Iranian territory on Monday (20).
“The Revolutionary Guards’ aerospace warriors, in continuation of the 24th wave of Operation Nasr-2, in response to yesterday’s aggression and attack by the American army against civilian facilities and under construction in Darkhovin, attacked and destroyed the central data infrastructure of the American company Amazon in Bahrain with several cruise missiles,” the IRGC stated.
Until the publication of this report, Amazon and the Bahrain government had not confirmed the attack or reported possible damage to infrastructure.
The attack cited by the IRGC refers to the offensive carried out by the United States on Monday (20) against the Darkhovin nuclear plant, under construction in the Iranian province of Khuzestan.
After the action, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, classified the bombing as “a dangerous attack on Iran’s peaceful infrastructure” and stated that Washington is “fully responsible for the consequences resulting from the worsening of insecurity and instability”.
The Iranian government also asked the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), linked to the United Nations (UN), to officially condemn the attack.

‘Child killers’
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard released, on Tuesday, a new statement refuting statements by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, who classified the three US soldiers killed over the weekend in attacks attributed to Iran as “heroes”.
According to the IRGC, the Iranian offensive targeted a complex used by the “terrorist and child-killing American army” in Rukban, close to the border between Jordan and Syria.
“Let it be clear that, in the lexicon of no nation, cowardly soldiers who use advanced weapons to kill innocent children are called heroes,” the Revolutionary Guard stated. “Freedom defenders around the world will soon bring these war criminals to justice,” the statement said.
The statement was released one day after Trump announced that he would participate in the repatriation ceremony for the three dead soldiers and stated that “every time Iran kills an American soldier, it will pay many times over for that death.” In a publication on the X network, Hegseth also paid tribute to the military. “Follow in peace, heroes. Their sacrifice only strengthens our resolve,” he wrote.
The reference to the “child-killing army” refers to the bombing of the Minab girls’ primary school, in southern Iran, on February 28. According to Iranian authorities, the attack killed 168 people, including at least 120 children. Since then, Tehran has cited the episode as one of the main examples to support the accusation that the United States deliberately attacks civilian targets.
Maritime blockade against Saudi Arabia
A new front in the conflict in the Middle East opened after the Houthis, a Yemeni group allied with Tehran, announced a maritime blockade against vessels linked to Saudi Arabia in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. According to spokesman Yahya Saree, the measure adopts the logic of “an eye for an eye” and is a response to what he classified as the Saudi siege of Yemen.
“The Yemeni Army declares a maritime embargo against the criminal Saudi enemy, based on the ‘eye for an eye’ equation, which comes into force immediately upon publication of this declaration,” Saree said.
The Strait of Bab el-Mandeb connects the Red Sea to the Indian Ocean and was being used by Saudi Arabia as an alternative to closing the Strait of Hormuz.
