The III International Technology Congress (MTK-2026) and the “Technologies” exhibition will be held between September 8 and 10 this year at the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center, in the Moscow region, Russia. Representatives from the business sector and government bodies will discuss opportunities for international cooperation in the technological area for key sectors of economic development in different countries.
More than 5,000 representatives from delegations from more than 40 countries are expected to participate. More than 300 organizations will present their developments at the technology exhibition. The program includes around 85 activities.
The congress brings together sectoral forums and niche events created by Russian technology associations. The central theme will be the implementation of information technologies and other knowledge-intensive technologies to carry out national technological leadership projects and for the entry of national products into new markets.
“The importance of the congress lies in its very conception: to unite the efforts of industry associations of Russia and partner countries to discuss key issues of technological development. This intersectoral approach makes it possible to find comprehensive solutions, form common guidelines and open up new opportunities for the modernization of industry,” First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Denis Manturov told the congress participants.
Participants in the MTK-2026 plenary session and strategic sessions will discuss the role of cross-sector synchronization and labor productivity in achieving technological sovereignty, as well as the potential of open architectures and open source for developing international cooperation and exports.
The “Technologies” exhibition will be organized in a cluster format. Among the thematic sections are intelligent management systems and unmanned systems, artificial intelligence, computing and data storage systems, service robots and industrial software, space research and technologies, telecommunications systems and services, energy for knowledge-intensive technologies, satellite construction and aerospace technology, video games, ready-made sector solutions and consumer technologies.
One of the highlights will be the integrated applied cluster “KIT: Space Research and Technologies”, dedicated to the latest solutions in the field of space activities.
The II Intersectoral Forum on Data Center Infrastructure “Data Center Platform” will address topics related to scientific and technological policy in the area, in addition to the challenges of construction, equipment, energy supply and integrated security of digital infrastructure facilities, including special purpose data centers.
During the congress, demonstration sessions of industrial competence centers dedicated to the replacement of foreign sectoral digital products, including software and hardware solutions, will be held. Large Russian companies from different sectors will also participate in discussions on intersectoral technology transfer.
The congress is part of the activity plans of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia, carried out by decree of the Russian president from 2022 to 2031, as well as the BRICS Industrial Cooperation Center with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO/UNIDO).
