Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 2 measures (from the can) of milk

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

  • 1 cup of sugar

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a pan, melt the sugar until you get a golden caramel. 
    Pour the caramel into a pudding mold (about 20cm in diameter) and spread it along the sides and bottom of the mold.
  • In a blender, beat condensed milk, milk, eggs and vanilla essence until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
  • Carefully pour the pudding mixture into the tin over the caramel.
  • Place the mold in a baking pan with hot water, which covers 1/3 of the height of the pudding mold.
  • Bake the pudding in the oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until it is firm to the touch.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.
  • Once cooled, place the pudding in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or until it is very firm.
  • When ready to serve, unmold the pudding onto a large plate, being careful not to break the caramel.
