EASY CORN CAKE RECIPE MADE WITH FLAKES

Great to eat warm with a cup of coffee.

Ingredients

  • 03 eggs

  • 200 g sugar

  • 120 ml of oil

  • 250 ml of milk

  • 250 g corn flakes

  • 170 g (1 can) of corn

  • 10 g baking powder

  • 50 g grated coconut (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix the flakes and milk, and set aside for a few minutes.
  • Meanwhile, blend the oil, sugar, corn and eggs in a blender until they form a smooth cream.
  • Mix the already hydrated flakes with the cream from the blender
  • Add the grated coconut and yeast and mix well.
  • Then transfer to a greased and floured pan and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for approximately 45 minutes.
  • Do the toothpick test to make sure your dough is baked, wait for it to cool and serve.
