The real traditional quentão of the June festivals has an unforgettable and striking flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium pineapple, diced

  • 400ml of cachaça or vodka

  • 100 grams of ginger

  • 500 grams of sugar

  • 2 liters of water

  • Cloves to taste

  • Cinnamon to taste

Directions

  • Melt the sugar in a large saucepan over low heat until caramelized and add the diced pineapple.
  • Mix a little to spread the caramel over the pineapple. Add the sliced ​​ginger and water.
  • Add the cloves and cinnamon to taste and let the mixture boil for about 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and let the drink cool for 5 minutes. Add the cachaça or vodka and mix.
  • Serve the mulled wine in glasses of your choice and the drink is ready to drink.
