Ingredients
1 can of sweet corn (drained)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional, for a lighter pate)
1 small garlic clove (optional, to enhance flavor)
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Chopped chives or parsley for garnish
Directions
- In a blender or food processor, place the drained corn, mayonnaise, and, if preferred, cream.
- Add the garlic, a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Blend until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. If you prefer a pâté with small pieces of corn, blend for less time.
- Adjust salt and seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer the pâté to a container, garnish with chopped chives or parsley and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving, to enhance the flavor.
