To make your Rice Cake you will need to use the ingredients below and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

  • A bit of salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin.
  • Place the cooked rice, eggs, milk and oil in a blender or food processor. 
    Mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
  • Add the sugar, vanilla extract (if using) and a pinch of salt to the mixture and beat again until everything is well combined.
  • Finally, add the baking powder and beat quickly just to incorporate it into the dough.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before unmolding.
