Combining a variety of fresh fruits with a special touch of citrus juice, this salad is easy to make and will please all palates.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples (diced, peeled or unpeeled, as preferred)

  • 2 bananas (sliced ​​into rounds)

  • 1 orange (juice)

  • 1 mango (diced)

  • 1 cup grapes (halved and seedless)

  • 1/2 pineapple (diced)

  • 1 kiwi (optional, sliced)

  • 1/2 cup strawberries (sliced)

  • 2 tablespoons of honey (optional, to sweeten)

  • Fresh mint for garnish

Directions

  • Wash all fruit thoroughly before peeling and chopping. Cut apples, bananas, mango, pineapple, kiwi and strawberries as directed.
  • Mix the chopped bananas and apples with the orange juice to prevent them from browning. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine all the chopped fruit except the mint. Mix gently so as not to mash the softer fruit.
  • If you prefer, drizzle honey over the fruit and mix again.
  • Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes so that the flavors combine and the salad becomes more refreshing.
  • Garnish with mint leaves before serving.
