Ingredients
1 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1 can of condensed milk
The same measure (from the can of condensed milk) of milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)
2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup melted butter
3 eggs
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)
Directions
- In a pan, melt the sugar over low heat until you get a golden caramel.
- Pour the caramel into a pudding mold, ensuring it evenly covers the bottom.
- In a blender, add the eggs, condensed milk, milk and vanilla essence.
- Mix until you get a smooth mixture.
- Pour this mixture over the caramel in the pudding mold.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, mix the wheat flour, sugar, milk, melted butter, eggs, baking powder and vanilla essence.
- Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
- Carefully pour the cake batter over the pudding mixture in the pan.
- Place the mold on a larger baking tray, filling the tray with hot water until it reaches half the height of the pudding mold.
This helps the pudding cook evenly. - Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool before unmolding.
Run a knife around the edges to loosen the pudding cake. - Turn the pudding cake onto a serving plate.
