The Workers’ Party (PT) asked the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), the Federal Police (PF) and the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) to open an investigation into possible financing or foreign support for Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential campaign by the Rockbridge Network. The American political organization was founded by the current Vice President of the United States, JD Vance.
In a note, the PT highlights that the petition is based on public complaints about the possible participation of American interests in the campaign, including possible compensation related to the exploration of rare earths in Brazil.
The party maintains that Brazilian legislation prohibits the direct or indirect receipt of resources of foreign origin by candidates and parties.
“If confirmed, the facts could reveal a clandestine foreign financing or support operation for a candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic, with possible criminal and electoral repercussions and the risk of external interference in the formation of popular will”, says the note.
Rare Earths and the USA
This Saturday (12), journalist Guilherme Amado, from Amado Mundo blogreleased a document that shows how the United States would explore rare earths in a possible Flávio Bolsonaro government.
Prepared by the Partido Novo candidate for the government of Rio de Janeiro, André Marinho, son of Flávio Bolsonaro’s deputy for the Senate, the file, according to Amado, has 22 pages in PowerPoint format and details what this alliance would be like. The presentation was made on March 19 of this year, about two weeks before André Marinho traveled to the United States to meet with Vice President JD Vance.
In response to the blog, Marinho said that the document would not be related to Flávio’s campaign. The cover of the presentation, however, says “Flávio Bolsonaro | 2026 Campaign”. The other pages feature a “Flávio Bolsonaro” logo, with the slogan “Prosperity Partnership” below.
Renan Santos, presidential candidate for Missão, has also made publications exposing the campaign’s relations with the American network of Trumpist investors.
