Ingredients
500g boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup of sugar
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs
1 tablespoon of salt
1 sachet of dry yeast
1 kg of wheat flour
Milk as much as you need
Directions
- In a large bowl, mix the mashed potato with the sugar, oil, eggs and salt until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Add the yeast and mix well.Â
Then add the wheat flour, little by little, mixing until the dough is consistent. - Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it is soft and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl and cover with a damp cloth.Â
Let it rest for about 1 hour, or until the dough doubles in size. - After the dough has risen, preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Model the bread in the shape of your preference and place it in a greased roast with oil.
- Brush the surface of the bread with milk and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from oven and let cool before slicing and serving.
