Learn How to Make the PERFECT Chocolate Brownie!

It’s perfect for quick desserts or for those moments when you feel like having an incredible homemade dessert. Check out the step-by-step recipe and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 200 g of semisweet chocolate

  • 100 g butter (unsalted)

  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 3 eggs

  • 1/2 cup (tea) of wheat flour

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Optional: walnuts, chestnuts or chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a medium baking tray with butter or line with baking paper.
  • Melt the dark chocolate with the butter in the microwave or in a bain-marie until you get a homogeneous mixture. Let it cool slightly.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and thick.
  • Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture, stirring gently.
  • Sift the wheat flour, cocoa powder and salt, gradually incorporating them into the dough. Mix until smooth.
  • If desired, add walnuts, cashews or chocolate chips to the dough.
  • Pour the batter into the pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still moist (test with a toothpick: it should come out slightly moist).
  • Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting.
