Ingredients
200 g of semisweet chocolate
100 g butter (unsalted)
1 cup (tea) of sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup (tea) of wheat flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 pinch of salt
Optional: walnuts, chestnuts or chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a medium baking tray with butter or line with baking paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate with the butter in the microwave or in a bain-marie until you get a homogeneous mixture. Let it cool slightly.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and thick.
- Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture, stirring gently.
- Sift the wheat flour, cocoa powder and salt, gradually incorporating them into the dough. Mix until smooth.
- If desired, add walnuts, cashews or chocolate chips to the dough.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still moist (test with a toothpick: it should come out slightly moist).
- Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting.
