Attacks

Military action is called the Ascendant Lion Operation by Israel, which said it had used 200 military aircraft to reach about one hundred targets throughout Iran.

Trump

US President Donald Trump reacted to attacks in an interview with ABC News. He was pleased to say that the military action of the Israelis was “excellent.” He also indicated that he was aware of the strategy.

Trump further raised tension by threatening the Iranians. He stated that “much more is to come” if the nuclear agreement he indicated is not accepted. The proposal that was being negotiated aimed to broaden US control over Iran’s nuclear program.

Earlier this year, Trump had signed a memorandum that prohibited Tehran’s government from producing nuclear weapons, which imposed greater economic pressure with restrictions against the Persians.

“High risk for peace”

Still this Friday, the United Nations Security Council (UN) is expected to meet to discuss the conflict initiated by Israel. The request came from Tehran’s authorities, who call for a public conviction of the acts, as well as a “decisive action” against the “criminal” acts.

In a statement, the Brazilian government, for Itamaraty, condemned the action of the Netanyahu government and says that the attacks “threaten to dive the entire region in conflict”, representing a “high risk to peace. ”
