Homemade Lemon Ice Cream

The result of this homemade lemon sorbet is incredible and loved by everyone who tastes it!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice (lemon)

  • 1 box of condensed milk

  • 1 box of cream

  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

  • 3 egg whites

  • Lemon zest

Directions

  • Place the condensed milk and lemon juice in a bowl, stir well until incorporated and set aside.
  • Whip the egg whites in a stand mixer until stiff. 
    Gradually add the sugar with the mixer on and beat until it reaches a sigh consistency.
  • Add the cream to the meringue and stir gently with a spoon or spatula, so as to leave it homogeneous.
  • Add the mixture of condensed milk and lemon juice and mix well.
  • Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 5 hours.
  • Remove the dessert from the freezer when it is firm and serve in pots of your choice. 
    Decorate with lemon zest and the ice cream is ready.
