Ingredients
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of cream
1 cup cognac (or brandy)
1/2 cup chocolate liqueur (such as cocoa liqueur)
1/2 cup coffee liqueur
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
6 sugar cubes
100 ml strong, cold coffee
Directions
- Start by dissolving the sugar cubes in cold coffee.
Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Let cool. - In a blender, add the condensed milk, cream, brandy, chocolate liqueur, coffee liqueur, vanilla extract and cocoa powder.
- Add the sweetened coffee to the blender mixture.
- Mix all ingredients in a blender at high speed until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
- Pour the mixture into a sterilized bottle or airtight container.
- Store in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours before consuming.
This will allow the flavors to blend and the drink to take on a smoother, velvety flavor. - Serve the homemade Amarula very cold, preferably in small liqueur glasses.
