Ingredients
4 whole eggs
25 grams of wheat flour
50 grams of corn starch
100 grams of granulated sugar
350 grams of natural yogurt
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chemical baking powder
Icing sugar to taste for decoration
Directions
- In a mixer add only the yolks, sugar and beat very well for a few minutes.
- Add the cornstarch, wheat flour, natural yogurt and beat for a few minutes again.
- Transfer the mixture to another container and set aside.Â
In the bowl of a stand mixer add the egg whites, salt and beat until the mixture is firm. - Take the reserved bowl with the mixture, add the beaten egg whites and stir very well with a spoon to homogenize.
- Pour the mixture into a greased mold with butter or margarine and bake for 50 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
- Remove from the oven, wait to cool down and unmold.Â
Finish by sprinkling icing sugar on top and the yogurt cake is ready to eat.
