Fluffy Natural Yogurt Cake

Set aside these simple ingredients and a few minutes to make this delicious yogurt cake!

Ingredients

  • 4 whole eggs

  • 25 grams of wheat flour

  • 50 grams of corn starch

  • 100 grams of granulated sugar

  • 350 grams of natural yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon chemical baking powder

  • Icing sugar to taste for decoration

Directions

  • In a mixer add only the yolks, sugar and beat very well for a few minutes.
  • Add the cornstarch, wheat flour, natural yogurt and beat for a few minutes again.
  • Transfer the mixture to another container and set aside. 
    In the bowl of a stand mixer add the egg whites, salt and beat until the mixture is firm.
  • Take the reserved bowl with the mixture, add the beaten egg whites and stir very well with a spoon to homogenize.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased mold with butter or margarine and bake for 50 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
  • Remove from the oven, wait to cool down and unmold. 
    Finish by sprinkling icing sugar on top and the yogurt cake is ready to eat.
