Research indicates the favoritism of the Conservative Christian Democratic Union Party (CDU), led by Friedrich Merz, who can be raised to the chancellor depending on the coalition formed. The CDU is the party of former Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Already the social democratic party of Germany (SPD), of the current chancellor, Olaf Scholz, appears in retraction with the loss of chairs in the Bundestag, the German Parliament.

Although the election appears to favor the CDU, the leftist parties should grow: the left (Die Linke) and the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance-Reason and Justice (BSW), the latter on the rise and with an anti-immigration position that is approaching of the right in the theme.

The biggest concern in this election is the advance of the alternative to Germany (AFD), the far right party that, according to the surveys, can have the second largest bench and claim Alice Weidel as a chancellor.

In February, protests against the far right gathered thousands of people. In Munich an act accounted for 15% of Bavaria’s population, 500,000 people, against the resilience of CDU and AFD. The advance of these parties, as well as their approach, also mobilized 300,000 people in Berlin earlier this month.
