Easy Fish Moqueca

It’s one of those dishes that looks complicated, but is very easy to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 800g hake

  • 3 garlic cloves

  • 2 and 1/2 onion

  • 4 tomatoes

  • 1/2 red bell pepper

  • 1/2 red bell pepper

  • 1/2 yellow bell pepper

  • 1/2 green pepper

  • 1 glass coconut milk

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1/3 cup (tea) olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon palm oil

  • smell-green to taste

  • coriander to taste

  • salt to taste

  • black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Season the fillets with salt, pepper, garlic and lemon juice. Book in the fridge for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the vegetables.
  • In a pan, with the fire turned off, make a layer of onion, followed by the tomato and half of the fish.
  • On top of the fish, place the peppers, a little onion and tomato.
  • Place the rest of the fish and cover with the rest of the onion and tomato.
  • Drizzle with fish seasoning, coconut milk, olive oil, palm oil and season with salt.
  • Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes.
  • After that time, correct the seasonings, add the green smell and coriander. Cover the pan and cook for another 10 minutes.
  • Now just serve!
