Ingredients
500g dried meat, desalted and shredded
1 kg of cassava
1 medium chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of milk
1 cup grated curd cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley to garnish
Directions
- In a pressure cooker, cook the cassava until it is very soft.Â
Run the water and book. - In another pan, saute onion and garlic in butter until golden.
- Add the shredded dried meat to the stew and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a bowl, mash the cooked cassava until it forms a puree.Â
Add the milk gradually and continue kneading until you get a creamy consistency.Â
Season with salt to taste. - In a refractory greased with butter, make a layer of cassava puree at the bottom.
- Then place a layer of braised beef jerky over the puree.
- Repeat the layers until you finish the ingredients, finishing with a layer of cassava puree.
- Sprinkle the grated curd cheese on top.
- Take it to the preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
