4 cups of sugar (tea)
2 kg unpeeled bananas
Ground cinnamon to taste (optional)
Directions
- Mash the peeled bananas very well with a fork in a bowl and set aside.
- Melt the sugar in a pan until it becomes a caramelized syrup, always stirring well.
- Add the bananas to the syrup and mix very well to homogenize.
Add cinnamon to taste and cook for another 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. - After the mixture becomes firm and easily detaches from the pan, transfer it to a container, wait to cool down and the creamy banana jam is ready.
