2 cups of sugar
1 cup of cornmeal
2 cups of milk
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 cup wheat flour
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking form with butter and flour.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar, cornmeal and milk.
- Add eggs and oil and mix well.
- Then add the wheat flour and baking powder and mix again until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the greased tin and bake for about 40 to 50 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer comes out clean.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
