Ingredients
1 can of condensed milk (approximately 395g)
2 cans of milk (use the can of condensed milk as a measure)
3 tablespoons of chocolate powder
3 whole eggs
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
Chocolate sprinkles (optional, for decoration)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease a pudding mold with margarine or butter and set aside. - In a blender, place the condensed milk, milk, chocolate powder, whole eggs and margarine.
Beat everything until you get a homogeneous mixture. - Pour the mixture into the prepared pudding mold.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
- Place the pan in a larger baking dish and add hot water to the pan until the water reaches about half the height of the pudding mold.
This will help to bake the brigadeirão in a bain-marie. - Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 1 hour.
Check the consistency of the brigadeirão with a toothpick or knife;
it should come out clean when ready. - Remove from the oven and let cool before unmolding.
- When it is completely cold, turn out the brigadeirão onto a serving plate.
- If desired, decorate with chocolate sprinkles before serving.
- Serve the brigadeiro chilled.
You can keep it in the fridge for a few hours before serving to make it even firmer and more flavorful.
