Ingredients

  • 3 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 1/2 cup butter at room temperature

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 4 ripe bananas, cut into slices

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup wheat flour

  • 3 tablespoons butter at room temperature

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the butter and eggs to the dry mixture and mix well until it forms a dough with the texture of crumbs.
  • Add the milk little by little, stirring until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
  • In another bowl, mix the banana slices with the sugar and cinnamon powder, forming the filling.
  • In a greased rectangular pan, place half the dough, spreading it evenly.
  • Spread the banana filling over the dough.
  • Cover the filling with the rest of the dough.
  • In a bowl, mix the sugar, wheat flour, butter and cinnamon powder, forming the crumbs.
  • Spread the flour over the dough, covering the entire surface.
  • Place the cuca in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
