This onion soup will make us want to make it again!

Ingredients

  • 6 onions

  • 2 bay leaves

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 1 glass of white wine

  • 1 tablespoon of wheat flour

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Vegetable broth to taste

  • Parmesan cheese to taste

  • Butter to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Italian bread

Directions

  • Peel the onions and chop them finely. 
    Melt the butter in a pan and add the onions.
  • Add the salt, bay leaves, black pepper and stir well. 
    Sauté over low heat for about 40 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Cut the Italian bread into medium slices and rub the garlic on them. 
    Then brown the slices on both sides in a frying pan with a little olive oil.
  • Add the wheat flour to the onions and stir well. 
    Add the white wine, salt and stir again.
  • Add vegetable broth and cook for another 30 minutes. 
    Add the bread slices and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 180º₢ and the onion soup is ready to serve.
