Ingredients
6 onions
2 bay leaves
2 garlic cloves
1 glass of white wine
1 tablespoon of wheat flour
Black pepper to taste
Vegetable broth to taste
Parmesan cheese to taste
Butter to taste
Salt to taste
Italian bread
Directions
- Peel the onions and chop them finely.
Melt the butter in a pan and add the onions. - Add the salt, bay leaves, black pepper and stir well.
Sauté over low heat for about 40 to 60 minutes, stirring occasionally. - Cut the Italian bread into medium slices and rub the garlic on them.
Then brown the slices on both sides in a frying pan with a little olive oil. - Add the wheat flour to the onions and stir well.
Add the white wine, salt and stir again. - Add vegetable broth and cook for another 30 minutes.
Add the bread slices and grated Parmesan cheese. - Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 180º₢ and the onion soup is ready to serve.
