US President Donald Trump remains at the lowest level of his term in popularity. According to a Reuters/Ipsos survey, released this Tuesday (21), 62% of Americans reject it; 36% approve of its performance.
The survey was completed on Monday (20) and was carried out amidst the impasses regarding the ceasefire with Iran and the president’s clashes with Pope Leo the 14th.
The war promoted by the USA against Iran has only 36% approval – an index that remained stable compared to the Reuters/Ipsos poll carried out between April 10 and 12.
The survey also measured how Americans evaluate the Republican’s lucidity, a theme that has emerged among the concerns of supporters and society in general.

Facts such as his temper towards the Pope, the publication of memes considered offensive to the Catholic faith and outbursts such as when he said he would annihilate the Persian civilization by ending Iran contributed to this impression — although the president’s behavior can easily be identified with classic fascist stances.
According to the survey, only 26% of citizens consider it “balanced”. Among Republicans, 46% do not consider him balanced, while 53% think he is. Only 7% of Democrats have a positive opinion about Trump’s mental health.
The most recent survey was carried out online with 4,557 adults across the country and has a margin of error of two percentage points.
