This lemon and yogurt cake makes snack time tastier and it’s hard to have a piece left!

Ingredients

  • 3 whole eggs

  • 2 cups (tea) and 1/2 of wheat flour

  • 1 cup (tea) and 1/2 of sugar

  • 1 cup of natural yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon chemical yeast

  • 1/3 cup oil (tea)

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • Juice of 2 lemons

  • 100 grams icing sugar

  • Zest of 1 lemon

  • 1 lemon juice

Directions

  • In a blender place the oil, eggs, lemon juice, sugar, yogurt and beat well.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container, then add the sifted flour, the lemon zest and stir with a whisk.
  • Place the yeast, stir gently until the dough is uniform and pour it into a greased and sprinkled mold with a hole in the middle.
  • Take the cake to bake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 30 to 40 minutes and unmold it after cooling down.
  • To prepare the frosting, mix the icing sugar with the juice of 1 lemon until it forms a icing and add it over the cake.
  • Finish by sprinkling lemon zest over the frosting and the lemon yogurt cake is ready.
