Ingredients
1 egg
1 cup of ham (grated)
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
2 eggs for breading
2 tablespoons wheat flour
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Panko flour or breadcrumbs for breading
Enough vegetable oil to fry the dumplings
Directions
- Add 1 egg, cornstarch, wheat flour, oregano and salt to a bowl and mix well.
- Add the grated ham and mozzarella cheese and mix until the dough is ready to roll (add a little more flour if needed).
- Roll the dumplings into the size and shape of your choice (if the cheese is too soft, leave them in the fridge for 10 minutes).
- Dip the dumplings in the 2 beaten eggs, then in the panko or breadcrumbs, then again in the eggs and finish by dipping them in the flour again.
- Preheat the oil in a frying pan, fry the dumplings until golden brown and remove with a slotted spoon.
Let the oil drain and the pizza balls are ready.
