Player should debut for Al-Nassr in a match against PSG on Thursday (19.jan); ticket entitles you to dinner with athletes
A ticket for the debut match of Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo for Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia, was auctioned for US$ 2.6 million (about R$ 13.4 million at the quotation on Wednesday, 18.jan.2023) . The buyer was Saudi real estate entrepreneur Mushref Al-Ghamdi.
Cristiano Ronaldo should debut for the Arab team in a match against the French club Paris Saint-Germain on Thursday (19.jan.2023) for the Riyadh Season Cup, a mini-tournament with a single game that will be played at the King Fahd Stadium, in Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia. Al-Nassr will have a team merged with Al Hilal, a team from the same country.
The French team highlights the forwards Neymar Jr. and Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, as well as Argentine Lionel Messi, current World Cup champion.
The announcement of the promotion was made by the adviser to the Saudi royal court, Turki Al Sheikh, in video posted on twitter. In addition to watching the match, the promotion will also entitle the buyer to:
- attend the opening ceremony of the event;
- dinner with the athletes;
- and visit the locker room.
The Saudi adviser announced that the money raised in the auction will be destined for Ehsan, a Saudi institution whose objective is to promote charitable work and the non-profit sector in the country.
