Ingredients
6 medium apples (about 650 grams without seeds)
3 tablespoons lemon juice
250ml dry red wine
300 grams of oven and stove sweetener
Directions
- Remove the stems from the apples, wash them, cut them in half and remove the seeds.
- Chop the apples and grind them with a processor or use a grater.
Transfer the crushed fruits to a pan. - Take the pan to medium heat and add the lemon juice and the oven and stove sweetener.
Stir well until homogenized. - Add the dry red wine and stir again.
Keep the heat on medium and when the liquid starts to reduce, lower the heat. - Stir from time to time over low heat until reduced further.
When the mixture is more consistent, transfer it to a jar with a lid. - Cover the jar with the mixture still hot, store it in the fridge and the jelly is ready for consumption.
